Can you believe that this pandemic is almost a year already? How many times have you worked out or done yoga at home? I lost count! Since the world has been shut down, we have set up our garage into a gym, and my master bedroom is my zen yoga studio. Although I miss the group energy, I have found working out at home to be great!
Since being at home so much, I found myself shopping online for everything. As we all know, when shopping online, the algorithms get working, and you all of a sudden see many advertisements for brands that are similar to what you have searched for. Through this process, I discovered many new activewear clothing lines that I love and want to share with you. Please note, I still love Lululemon, but there are so many other great companies out there to try.
The first time I saw Set Active was on my Instagram; I saw Kendell Jenner in a cute two-piece top and leggings. What drew me to this look? The several monochromatic colors and the material. I love the Sculptflex leggings and tops. The leggings have a high-rise waistband, they are stretchy and supportive. There is a great, fun selection of tops to pick from. Additionally, the prices are reasonable and the quality of materials is very good.
A girlfriend sent me a pair of leggings from Varley, and I instantly fell in love. I think this brand has the highest quality of fabrics out there in the active clothing world. Not only are the fabrics amazing, but the way they fit and feel is paramount. They also have a great selection of prints. I am a big fan of animal prints, and they have a good selection of them.
I own the clay zebra leggings ($106) in the middle photo above, but I wear them with a solid black top. These leggings are incredibly comfortable. After I do yoga and I’m not so sweaty, I put on my long cardigan and I am good for the rest of the day.
A company that has been around for a long time, and I’m not sure why I never tried this brand? Maybe because I thought I would be cheating on Lululemon!! I finally went into an Athleta store, and I was pleasantly surprised at how great this brand is. So much to choose from, and the quality is top-notch.
The tank top in the photo above on the left is what I have, and I love it because it’s not too short, doesn’t hike up, and is comfortable. It’s the Conscious crop A-C ($59), and it comes in 11 colors. The two other photos above with the legging are called the Ultra High Rise Elation Tights ($89). This is my all-time favorite legging at the moment. It is high enough to cover my tummy, doesn’t roll, and the legging stays in place, where others you have to hike up continually.
