Google defines a resolution as a firm decision to do or not do something. What do you want or not want to do for the new year? Maybe you want to become vegan, get in better shape, start meditating. Or maybe you want to start limiting the amount of time you are on your cell phone; you want to read more.

According to one study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, those who set New Year’s resolutions are 10 times more likely to actually change their behavior than people who don’t make these yearly goals.
